A few weeks ago, RMA Land Construction contacted me about photographing its company Christmas dinner party. I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity and had a ton of fun working with the lovely folks of this company. I went with my new photography buddy Michelle (see if you can spot her in one of the photos!) over to The Embassy Suites Hotel in Anaheim yesterday evening for this joyous occasion.

We started the event by documenting the details. I then went ahead and got couple and group shots of all the guests by the Christmas tree. The party was filled with memorable speeches by the CEO and leadership team, awesome prizes (the best I've ever seen), and lots of dancing. Enough yapping, I'll let the photos do the talking :).

RMA reserved the Swan Court room for its dinner party:

The tables were nicely decorated:

Some of the many wonderful people of that evening by the Christmas tree; we also went outside the dinner room, but still inside the hotel, to get some group shots of all the employees and their family and friends.

Candid moment between Roy and his colleagues:

Yummy Christmas present/prize!

There were many heartfelt and hilarious moments during the speeches:

One of the employees picked up his boss!

There's an inside joke about Roy and a football :):

The lovely ladies pick out the lucky winners of the raffle prizes:

I forgot what she walked away with but I'm pretty sure it was something very cool:

We ended the evening with some heart-pounding dancing; check out these two kids going at it!

Roy's daughter was one of the best dancers on the floor last night:

Everyone took turns showing their moves inside the dance circle:

Picture Me Happy Launch Party

Picture Me Happy is a non-profit organization that aims to bring happiness and joy to the life of less-fortunate kids in hospitals with the usage of cameras and laptops. It was started very recently by Hollywood celebrity photographer Tim Courtney, whom I had the honor and pleasure of meeting and working with at the launch party.

As Mr. Courtney socialized with current and potential stakeholders of Picture Me Happy, I went around the restaurant area to document the event. Below are some of the shots from this exciting evening.

Applebuam provided the treats with a Picture Me Happy label on each:

A shot of Tim and two of his guests; the one on the right is Susan Miller, child and pediatric psychologist for the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Children Hospital Los Angeles, who wrote a very nice testimonial in support of Picture Me Happy:

The elegant wine glasses on the Tokyo Table bar counter:

Tim had his business card and documents about Picture Me Happy at the information booth:

Another shot of supporters of Picture Me Happy and Mr. Courtney:

There was also a laptop at the information booth; if you're curious, that check you see there is for $1,000. It's always great to see money going towards a special and meaningful cause.

Another decorative shot; in the background is a poster with details on what Picture Me Happy is and what it's going to do.

Here's a nice group shot with Tim and many of the lovely guests that showed up for the launch party:

Some last group shots at the table before everyone had to go:

One more but with a few new faces at the table:

I may not be able to drink but I still appreciate the beauty in the design and presentation of alcohol:

I'd like to thank Tim for inviting me to his new organization's launch party. When all the paperwork is taken care of, I look forward to assisting him at the hospitals and helping out the kids.
